U-20 WWCQ: Falconets Hold Tanzania To 1-1 Away Draw

Nigeria’s Falconets held Tanzania to a 1-1 draw away in the first leg, third round of the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers on Sunday.

Chioma Olise scored the Falconet’s only goal in the 60th minute of the game.

After about 11 minutes of play, Tanzanian, Asnath Ubamba equalised the goal in the 71st minute.

The second leg will take place in Abuja, at the Moshood Abiola stadium on Sunday, 19 November, 2023.

Based on the present situation, Falconets has advance to the third round through a walkover after Mauritius withdrew prior to the first leg.

Four teams will represent Africa at the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia.
